Supa Dam

Supa Dam is built across River Kali or kalinadi in Uttara Kannada (North Canara) district of Karnataka state. The dam is situated in Joida taluk of Uttara Kannada district.

The power house at the foot of the Supa dam has two electricity generators of 50 MW each. The electricity generated here is supplied to different parts of Karnataka.

The dam is built and operated by Karnataka Power Corporation Limited (KPCL). The power house was commissioned in 1985.

Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary is nearest place of interest.
