Shivaganga Falls

Shivaganga falls is located at a distance of 45 km from Sirsi. Shivaganga falls is surrounded by thick forest. Shivaganga is one of the unique waterfalls in the Western Ghats on the border of three taluks Sirsi, Yellapur and Ankola of Uttara Kannada district.

The small Sonda River falls from 74 m high in to a deep valley covered with thick ever green flora and presents a charming view.

A temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha, can be seen in the middle of the river.

How to get there:

Nearest Airport: Dabolim.

Nearest Railhead: Kumta

Road: There is no proper road, and after moving through a motorable road from Hulekal to Sampigadde near Mensi village, one has to cross the thick forest in order to reach this spot.
