Shikaripura is a small town and Taluk headquarters in Shimoga district, Karnataka state.
Shikaripura is located at a distance of 53 Km from Shimoga and it lies 603 meters above sea level. Shikaripura is located between plain land of Bayaluseeme and tropical forests of Malenadu.
