Sahasralinga, Uttara Kannada
Sahasralinga is a pilgrim place located at a distance of 17 km from Sirsi in Uttara kannada district.
Sahasralinga is on the banks of the river Shalmala and it is well known for being the location where around a thousand Shiva lingas have been carved on the rocks present on the river bank. Each rock is designed with a Shiva linga and Nandi facing it.
Sahasralinga is one of the best places for one day picnic.

How to get there:
Road: Sahasralinga is on the way to Yellapur from Sirsi. One has to get down get at bus stop called 'Hulgol' and walk towards 'Hulgol' and from the main road it is around 2 km.
