Igguthappa Devara betta, a peak and popular pilgrim centre is located at a distance of 45 km from Madikeri, the district headquarters of Kodagu.
Igguthappa Devara betta, is located in the vicinity of the forest Aiyengeri near Kakkabbe. Igguthappa Devara betta is a lofty peak and pilgrimage centre.
The shrine dedicated to the deity Lord subrahmanya is constructed here. The deity Lord Subrahmanya is called as "Iggutappa" by the kodavas.
Devotees from all over the Kodagu district and other parts of Karnataka assemble at this holy place and offer special prayers and poojas and sometimes a seva called "Tulabhara".
