Belligave

Belligave, a historical place is located at a distance of 20 Km from Shikaripura and 80 Km from Shimoga. Belligave was the capital of Banavasi Nadu during 12th century.

Keshareshwara temple, Panchalinga temple, Kaithaleshwara temple and Thripuramthakeshwara temple are major attractions of Belligave because of the architectural beauty.

There are few Veerashivas Mutts in Belligave.
