Nellitheertha: Located at a distance of 12 Km from Bajpe, Nellitheertha Somanatheshwara Cave temple is one of the sacred places in Dakshina Kannada district. The most interesting feature of Nellitheertha is a cave temple which is situated to the right of the temple. Inside the cave, one can find a beautiful lake and a Shiva Linga.

Moodbidri: Moodbidri is a small town located at a distance of 26 km from Bajpe. Moodbidri is known as the 'Jain Kashi' of South India and it is an ancient center of Jain learning. Thousand Pillar Temple is the main attraction.

Doddikatta: Doddikatta is a temple village near Bajpe and is considered a sacred shrine for Hindus. The main deity at the temple is Swambhoolingeshwara or Lord Shiva himself. The kshetra is unique for housing 32 Kuladevatas and the ever-growing Shiva Linga which is as it has grown since years with no carving or sculpting.
