Abbey Falls

Abbey Falls is located at a distance of 10 km from Madikeri town in Kodagu (or Coorg) district. This is a favorite spot for tourists.

Abbey falls is located amidst of lush green coffee plantation and spice estates. The gushing waters of the Abbey falls, dropping down a rocky ravine, results that the roar of the falls can be heard from the road.

British called Abbey waterfalls as Jessy waterfalls in memory of Jessy, the daughter of Madikeri's first chaplain.

Best Time to Visit Abbey Falls is during the monsoon or before winter.
