Tadiandamol in Kodagu
Tadiandamol is located on the Western Ghats range in Virajpet taluk in Kodagu district and is situated near Nalknad Palace which is 40 km from Madikeri.
Tadiandamol is the highest peak (5,724 ft) of Kodagu district and the second highest in Karnataka. Tadiandamol is a place of interest for trekkers and Naturalists. The mountain has patches of shola forests in the valleys.
The peak is not altogether inaccessible; two-thirds of it can be reached on a jeep.
The Nalaknad (also known as Nalnad - meaning 4 villages) palace at the foothills is an important historical landmark.
The best season to visit Tadiandamol is between December and May.
