Om Beach

The famous OM beach is located in Gokarna, a temple town in Uttara Kannada district of Karnataka state.

Shaped like the Hindu spiritual symbol of OM, this is the most famous beach in Gokarna, and has got the best waves and beach-side shacks. Om beach is the only naturally Om shaped beach.

It takes just 20 minutes to reach this beach from Gokarna bus stand.

How to get there

Nearest Airport: Goa

Nearest Railhead: The railway station is 10 km away from the town. The nearest railhead is at Kumta.

Road: Gokarna is well-connected by road to Bangalore, Mangalore and Karwar. Regular buses ply from Kumata, Karwar, Goa and Mangalore.
